Tucked away in an uptown NOTL small strip mall is Niagara’s newest Italian inspired neighbourhood restaurant. We have an 18-seat kitchen bar where you can engage with and watch the chefs in action, and lively and hopping 42-seat dining area.
The food at Ruffino’s is soul satisfying & belly filling like Nona’s. It is warm and welcoming like the fires we cook on. We want to welcome you with open arms to come join us in our home. If we slow down, spend time with each other, eat great food and drink wine, then we will learn what it means to be family and a community. Ruffino’s is the Italia restaurant you wished was just around the corner, and now it is!

Our staff tends to our farm daily and delivers vegetables still warm from the sun. We cook fresh every day and preserve that which we can’t for the winter months. We source ethically raised meat, do our own in-house butchery, and cook over an open fire and bake sourdough pizzas in a wood-fired oven. In Italy, one doesn’t talk about farm-to-table food. It’s just what you do. You have your own garden. You make your own salumi and prosciutto in your cantina. You preserve 100’s of litres of tomato sauce. And these are the traditions we are carrying on with a Niagara Flair!
