backhouse supports a Canadian Artists Program.
We see annual visitation of over 20,000 guests per year and support artists with worldwide sales and extensive online exposure.

Canadian artists, aged 18 and older, are eligible to enter the 3rd Annual Peer Reviewed Solo Show at Backhouse. Only original artwork not shown previously in the Niagara region will be accepted.
GUIDELINES
- All forms of media are eligible.
- All work must be presented professionally.
- Accepted work must be exhibition-ready to be included in the show.
- 3D work must be properly mounted for hanging.
- Framed pieces must be securely wired; glazed plexiglass is accepted.
- Video installations accepted.
- Content must not be overtly violent, graphic or offensive
ARTIST BENEFITS
- Art opening exhibition sponsored by local wineries and breweries with hors d’oeuvres provided by backhouse
- Listing on the backhouse website with artist image, statement and website
- All submissions are free to submit
- Commissioned sales, gallery setting
